There is no better way to appreciate the diversity of life in village india than by cycling and camel riding. we combine this with visits to the famous palaces and forts of delhi, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Jaipur and Agra on our journey through rajasthan.

From Delhi we take an over night train to bikaner on the edge of the rajasthan desert. Our camel ride takes us through rarely - visited villages and forts that reflect their rich culture and history. Our caravan includes a full complement of musicians and crew to ensure each over night camp is a memorable one. After 3 days in the saddle we reach the walled city of jaisalmaer before continue via jodhpur and the imposing meheran fort to the ' pink city' of Jaipur.


In Jaipur we visit the city palace, the palace of the winds and the jantar mahal , and ride atop elephants to the amber fort before commencing our cycle ride to Agra and the tajmahal . As we cycle the country roads we re-adjust our pace to that of the buffalo cart and meet the village elders who are keen to discover the purpose of our journey.

If you haven't riden a camel before be assured no prior experience is necessary. If you haven't cycled since your school days, dont worry. The roads are flat, the days not unduly streneous and we provide a backup vehicle for your convienience.
